Our Story
Apotheos Roastery began as a dream between community changemakers who set out to reinvent the Enlightenment-era coffeehouse and a coffee philosophy steeped in over thirty years of experience.
Our name is derived from "apotheosis," a word that suggests elevating something to its most divine form. We chose it to remind us to elevate what we do and treat it as sacred. By approaching our roasted and cold-brew coffee with obsessive care, we infuse it with significance. By continuing to be hands-on in our communities, we shed light on the beauty of what we can achieve together. And by getting to know each person who drinks our roasts, we illuminate the connections between us.
Through our craft, we aim to bring the artisan, the consumer, and the community together to share one experience: A nice cup of coffee.

A one-of-a-kind coffee
Our state-of-the-art facility is located in the former fellowship hall of a Methodist Church. Formed in 1877, built in 1902, and restored beginning in 2016, the adjoining event space The 1808 is the only federally registered historic building in Downtown Kennesaw.
Our Roastery is dedicated to roasting all of our craft blends and single origin coffees. We roast, brew, bag, and can within our facility. We are open for visits and tours. Limited retail with freshly roasted coffee and cold brew is also available for purchase at the Roastery.
